When God’s people live generously, communities flourish, churches unite, ministries collaborate, and the Gospel spreads far beyond what we could accomplish alone. When expressed in local and culturally rooted ways, generosity becomes a powerful witness to the world.
Why Generosity?
The Biblical Foundation of Generosity
Generosity Mirrors the Gospel: At its core, generosity reflects the heart of the Gospel itself. Just as God gave His Son freely, without condition or expectation of return (John 3:16, Romans 5:8), we are called to give freely to others. This is grace made visible—unearned, undeserved, and transformative.
Generosity Flows from God's Nature: God Himself is the ultimate model of generosity. He is lavish in His provision (Philippians 4:19), abundant in mercy (Ephesians 2:4-5), and generous beyond measure in every spiritual blessing (Ephesians 1:3). Our generosity is a response to His extravagant love and a reflection of His character to a watching world.
Generosity Includes the Gift of Presence: Biblical generosity extends beyond financial giving to include our time, attention, and presence. Jesus didn't just give resources—He gave Himself. He ate with sinners, wept with mourners, and walked alongside the marginalized (Mark 2:15-17, John 11:33-36). True generosity means showing up, being present, and entering into the lives of others.
Generosity Breaks Down Barriers: Generosity has the power to cross every human divide. It reaches across cultures, economic classes, and belief systems, embodying the radical inclusivity of God's kingdom (Galatians 3:26-28). The early church's generosity shattered social barriers, as believers from every background shared freely with one another (Acts 2:42-46, Acts 4:32-35).
Generosity Resources the Great Commission: From the beginning, God has used the generous giving of His people to fuel the spread of the Gospel to every corner of the world. The early church supported missionaries, planted churches, and met needs in distant lands through sacrificial generosity (Philippians 4:15-18, 2 Corinthians 8-9). Generosity doesn't just support ministry—it IS ministry, making the Gospel tangible and accelerating its reach.
Generosity Reflects Stewardship, Not Ownership: Scripture teaches that everything we have belongs to God (Psalm 24:1, 1 Chronicles 29:14). We are not owners but stewards, entrusted with resources to manage for His purposes. This understanding liberates us from the anxiety of scarcity and the burden of control, freeing us to give joyfully and generously.
Generosity is Rooted in Trust in God, Not in finances or possessions: Biblical generosity doesn't require wealth—it requires faith. The widow who gave her last two coins (Mark 12:41-44) and the Macedonian churches who gave out of extreme poverty (2 Corinthians 8:1-5) demonstrate that generosity flows from trust in God's faithfulness, not from our bank accounts.
Generosity Produces Joy and Spiritual Growth: God designed generosity to bless both the giver and the receiver. Scripture consistently connects generous giving with joy (2 Corinthians 9:7), spiritual maturity (2 Corinthians 8:7), and deeper intimacy with God (Matthew 6:19-21). Where our treasure is, there our heart will be also.
Generosity Combats Idolatry: Money and possessions are powerful spiritual forces that can easily become idols. Generosity is a spiritual discipline that loosens the grip of materialism on our hearts and declares that God—not money—is our ultimate security and satisfaction (Matthew 6:24, 1 Timothy 6:17-19).
Generosity Points to God's Kingdom: Every act of biblical generosity is a foretaste of the coming Kingdom, where there will be no lack, no need, and no injustice. When we give generously, we participate in God's redemptive work and bear witness to the world He is making new (Revelation 21:4-5).

Statement of Faith
WE BELIEVE the entire Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and practice. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 1:1-2
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and was true Man and is true God. Matthew 1:18-23
We believe that in this age, God manifests Himself through the Holy Spirit who is a distinct personality, eternally coexistent with the Father and the Son, whose basic task is to convict sinners, regenerate those who believe and empower believers to live godly lives and in every way glorify the Father and the Son through His indwelling presence. John 14:16-17, 26
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death that was eternal separation from God and is upon all men. Genesis 1:26-27
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood. Romans 5:8-9
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was resurrected in body, ascended into heaven, presently lives there for us as High Priest and Advocate, and that His personal, physical return to earth is imminent. Luke 24:36-53
We believe that there will be a bodily resurrection of both the just and the unjust, the just to the everlasting blessedness of the saved and the unjust to the everlasting conscious suffering of the lost. John 5:28-29
We long to see lives, churches, and nations transformed as believers live generously in their own unique cultural expressions, bearing witness to the overflowing goodness of God. Through prayer, discipleship, and community, we come alongside leaders, pastors, and ministries to walk in freedom from scarcity and embrace God’s design of abundance.
